NirvanaIoT is operated by Nirvana Technologies ("we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

Name — provided optionally as your display name on the platform.
Email address — used to authenticate you via one-time password (OTP). We do not store passwords.
Phone number — provided optionally for account or support purposes.
Device information — names, identifiers, pin configurations, and widget layouts you create for your IoT devices.
Device state data — pin values, relay states, and online/offline status reported by your devices in real time.
Payment information — for Premium purchases, payment is processed by Cashfree (India) or via cryptocurrency (international). We do not store your card or crypto wallet details — only the transaction ID and plan status.
Usage logs — server access logs (IP address, timestamp, request path) retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging.

2. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate you and maintain your session.
To allow you to monitor and control your registered devices.
To send transactional emails (OTP codes, device-online notifications).
To process and verify Premium plan payments.
To maintain service security and diagnose technical issues.

We do not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on a private VPS server. Communication between your browser, devices, and our server is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS and MQTT over TLS). Authentication tokens are stored in your browser's local storage and are never shared with third parties.

While we take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, no system is completely secure. Please keep your email account secure, as it is the key to your NirvanaIoT account.

4. Email Communications

We send emails only for authentication (OTP codes) and device notifications (e.g., when a device comes online). You will not receive unsolicited marketing emails. You can stop receiving device notifications by removing the device from your account.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and device data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at legal@nirvanaiot.cloud. Server access logs are purged after 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your account and all associated data.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. We use the browser's localStorage to store your authentication token and email address locally on your device. This data is used only to keep you signed in and is never transmitted to any third party.

8. Children's Privacy

NirvanaIoT is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will promptly remove it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
